Supporting San Diego’s Military Families
SmallTalk is proud to provide speech and occupational therapy services directly on base at several Child Development Centers (CDCs) throughout San Diego. We offer high-quality developmental support for military children where they learn and grow every day. These services are available exclusively to families with children enrolled at the CDCs we serve.
If you are a military family interested in therapy services for your child, please speak with your CDC administrator about a referral.

Services We Offer
SmallTalk provides a full range of therapy services for children of all ages at the CDCs as well as in our three clinics and virtually. We tailor each treatment plan to your child’s individual needs and goals.
Speech and Language Therapy
Clear communication opens doors for kids, which is why we offer specialized speech and language therapy. Our therapists help children strengthen their ability to understand, speak, and interact with others, creating a strong foundation for learning, friendships, and self-confidence.
Occupational Therapy
We deliver occupational therapy with care to build skills for everyday life. Our team helps children develop the motor, sensory, and coordination skills they need for important tasks like getting dressed, feeding themselves, participating in school, and playing with friends.
Feeding Therapy
We offer feeding therapy to support happier, more successful mealtimes. Our approach assists children who face challenges with chewing, swallowing, or tolerating different foods, helping them develop a positive relationship with eating in a supportive, family-centered environment.
